Reading comprehension exige que o estudante vá além da tradução literal e perceba intenção, inferências, referência pronominal, tom e organização das ideias. Em questões difíceis, o desafio costuma estar menos no vocabulário isolado e mais na relação entre partes do texto, no propósito comunicativo e nas pistas contextuais.

Ao responder, observe conectores, escolhas lexicais, relações de causa e contraste, além do que o texto sugere sem afirmar diretamente. As questões a seguir foram elaboradas para treinar leitura crítica em inglês, com foco em interpretação, inferência e compreensão global.
